| Creating aged photo effect |
At times you wish to change your colored images to look like as if they were taken a long time back. In this situtation, aged photo effect comes handy. Open the image you want to work on. |

From image menu apply adjustments>> hue/saturation. Enable colorize. Apply settings as shown. |

| From filter menu apply noise>>add noise. |

| Adjust noise settings as shown. Adding noise will create some grains over the image. |

| Using polygon lasso (L) tool create a jagged border selection. |

Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection. |

| In layer window double click this layer to unflatten it. Press delete to remove the outer area of the image. |

| Create a new layer and fill it with white color. Drag it below the image layer. |

| In layer window, double click image layer to open layer style window. Apply drop shadow using settings as shown. |

| The image is converted to an aged photo with torn edges border. |
